Why is the reputation system making me paying EVR for my node?
What a reputation contract does is that it rents an instance from yourself, so even if you are paying evr for your instance, you are paying it to yourself. This is a net zero transaction as you can send it back to your reputation contract once it is running thin.
Why do I need XAH to run the reputation contract?
When you deploy an instance (in this case a reputation contract) your communication between the reputation account and Evernode node account is done through the xahau network, and every time you deploy the contract you need to pay to use the xahau network in xah. It costs (presently) about 0.35 xah per day.
