When you install your server and fail, you get a log with the details. Read it and try to figure out what's wrong!

Here's some quick fixes to some common issues:

"Please use the same email or update the letsencrypt email with certbot."
Quick fix: Let's just remove the lets encrypt folder and let the installer recreate it (sudo rm -rf /etc/letsencrypt)

Alternative Fix – Let's Encrypt Email Error

Instead of deleting the entire /etc/letsencrypt folder, try updating the existing Certbot registration.

1. Check the existing Certbot account:

sudo certbot accounts

2. Check the configured email:

sudo grep -R "email" /etc/letsencrypt/accounts/

3. Update the Certbot email:

sudo certbot register --update-registration --email [your@email.com](mailto:your@email.com)

Replace [your@email.com](mailto:your@email.com) with the email address you want to use.

4. Run the installer again.

Avoid using:

sudo rm -rf /etc/letsencrypt

This can delete existing certificates, private keys, renewal settings, and account information.

Updating the existing Certbot registration is a safer option because it keeps your existing Let's Encrypt configuration intact.
