You can never trust anybody that you see online, scammers can spend several months to build up trust and reputation just for the purpose of stealing a small sum of money.
Scammers can impersonate admins and steal admin accounts (if they are lucky), or even spend a lot of time to work up a reputation to achieve a forum title (for malicious intentions).
For these reasons, it is important to never trust anybody and always independently review things at least twice before trying anything.
